Arrival at JFK Airport (NYC) :
All hujjaj are strictly advised to arrive promptly and well before time at John F. Kennedy International Airport [NYC] ( at least 5 hours before departure ). Take all measures necessary to be there sufficiently early, so as to avoid any problems and hassles. If in any case, you expect to be late ( traffic jam, flat tire & etc. ), please contact Shaykh Dr. Nadeem Qureshi on his number to inform him. Prepare for everything as early as possible to ensure an efficient and smooth departure from JFK Airport. Even if you are there very early, do not begin boarding or do anything else; wait for the group leader to arrive. Also, be sure to keep your luggage with you.
REMEMBER: THE KEY POINTS HERE AND THROUGHOUT THE HAJJ JOURNEY, ARE TO FOLLOW THE GROUP LEADER AND OBEY HIS INSTRUCTIONS; TO NOT TAKE ANY STEPS WITHOUT HIS CONSENT, AND TO COOPERATE WITH THE GROUP IN ALL WAYS POSSIBLE. INSHALLAH, THE DEPARTURE SHOULD BE FAST AND HOPEFULLY, THERE WON’T BE ANY DELAYS.
While at JFK Airport Terminal :
Well before departure, the group leader, Shaykh Dr. Nadeem Qureshi, will give out crucial information and instructions for the journey. Any last minute questions will be answered and the procedure will be briefed. Therefore, it is in every hajji’s best interest to be at JFK 5-6 hours before departure time, regardless of where you are coming from.
Arrival at Jeddah Terminal :
Please read the following steps carefully since they carry some significant information about issues, concerns, and precautions that must be taken in consideration upon arrival at the Hajj Terminal in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
At Jeddah airport male and female pilgrims are made to sit in separate rooms before getting called for immigration. After immigration you go through the Customs for luggage clearance. [ processing time 6+hrs please be patient ]
Outside of the customs area, the workers of the Unified Agents Office will detach the Mau’alim fee check (which we have attached on the last page of your passport), and will also place stickers for transportations.
The Customs officials will then tell the hujjaj to put all their luggage on one trolley. Do so after you recieve special color-coded labels from the group leader (these will be put on the luggage so as to ensure its safety and prevent any problems).
Again, DO NOT TAKE ANY STEPS ON YOUR OWN ( UNLESS OTHERWISE INSTRUCTED ), DO NOT LEAVE THE CUSTOMS AREA OR DETACH FROM THE GROUP AT ANY POINT WITHOUT NOTICE! LAST BUT NOT THE LEAST, DO NOT FORGET TO FOLLOW THE GROUP LEADER’S INSTRCTIONS!
